Chuck V goes on vacation and half the gym doesn’t show up to squat.  Funny how that works

Squat
Group 1: Chewy, Dague, Tat, Schwab, Johnston
Box squats against single blue band on each side using the buffalo bar.  Chewy is working his way back, so he kept it somewhat light to get reps in.  Tat worked up to 4 plates for doubles and finished with 4 and a quarter for a grinding single.  Schwab took a few doubles with 5 plates then added a 6th plate for a single to finish.  Dague worked with 4 plates for singles in his suit.  Johnston is working on depth in his suit, so he went suit only and worked up to 6 plates for a single, then took a couple doubles at 4 plates and paused in the hole to feel the pressure.

Group 2: Gualtieri, Fleming
These guys went with lightened method using hanging monster minis, taking singles on the box.   From what I remember, they finished in the 6-7 plate range.

Deadlift
Pin pulls from pin 5, working up to a max single.  Chewy hit a PR at 815, Schwab a PR At 855.  Johnston finished at 795, then decided to make a jump with Schwab instead of Chewy since he lost track of the weight.  Wrong choice this time.  Gualtieri finished with 745, two times in a row he’s been strong from this pin height.

Chewy, Johnston, and Dague then did some back raises with the SSB on shoulders.  Abs and shrugs to finish.

  1. This one looks terrible to me, how can you deal with it? Is it ok to you?

  2. Fascinating blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design. Thanks

  3. After study a few of the blog posts in your web site now, and I really like your means of blogging. I bookmarked it to my bookmark web site record and will probably be checking again soon. Pls take a look at my website online as properly and let me know what you think.

  4. M, Well stated! I might add that technology is held back to a certain degree as a way to increase profit & sustain viability.Eg: Why market a new more powerfull central processor that you could install in your computer when you could sell a whole new powerfull system. There are plenty of examples of companies buying up patents and burrying them so as to keep selling the more profitable technology even if the patent is a better one. We have lived in the age of Built in Obsolesence for many years as well!

  5. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  6. Everything and anything said before, during and after .a reliable bat in the No. 2 spot in the order in describing Fraudie Sanchez should be enough to send believers of this canard back to Little League Tryouts 101.

  7. Photobooth rentals, once considered primarily as a holiday getaway-occasion novelty, are experiencing a resurgence in level of popularity nowadays. Then again Classic Photo Booths really are virtually no longer relegated to shore walks and game facilities; rather, they’re turning into a great more and more featured fixture at public holidays, running from special events and Bat Mtzvahs to marriage ceremonies and corporate and business celebrations.
